The second day of the con, Oct. 3rd, just happens to be the same day as "24hr Comic Day", in which small press and indie comic creators get together in one place and each tries to crank out a full comic story in 24 hours. It's a really cool concept that I only ever seem to hear about happening in Pennsylvania through my buddy Barry. If I wasn't so far away, I'd probably wind up taking the trip there to take part. But I am, so I can't.
Well, I'm thinking of honoring the incredibly fun spirit of this venture and doing it myself AT THE CONVENTION. Except, instead of 24 hours, I'll only have about 8. So, I'll be at my table, letting other people sell my wares, and spend the entire day cranking out pages for a comic book story there on the spot. Each completed page will be placed in a portfolio right there on the table and people can come by and read the story in progress.
So, the convention if October 2-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center in...well...Long Beach, CA. I'll be at my table in the artist alley plugging away at pages all day Saturday, so come by and say hi! Or just come by to see if I even come close to finishing! Either way, it'll be interesting!
I may do the same thing the following weekend at Baltimore Comic Con if it goes well/is fun.

Target...
Update Weapon X! Like, now. Seriously. It's been a year... actually, over a year since you updated the website. At least do a good-bye comic if you're quitting. Oh, and after you do the good-bye comic, barricade the doors. And windows. And walls. And barricades.
We love your comic, don't let your Weapon X talent go to waste! C'mon, Riot. Don't leave us hanging.

People say, "You can't fix everything."
And I say, "How can I know until I try?"
...but I can't do anything with it. I have a contract for my regular comic, The Path, and a lot of work that goes along with it. Plus, I have two jobs in order to keep everything paid that needs to be paid.
I'd LOVE to work on Weapon X again. I still have tons of ideas for strips and a lot of hilarious stuff I want to do with it. Unfortunately, it's just a matter of time. I don't have any. Also...isn't Weapon X down? I could've sworn it was down now.
Anyways, maybe if I get some free time, I'll bring the adventures of Wade, Logan, and Noble Kale back...maybe. Of course, if you guys want to pay my bills for me, I'll update it every day of the week.
Just sayin'.

Anywayyy... I wish you luck with The Path.

Maybe I'll throw something up there sometime soon. There are enough of you yelling at me about it.
...and I'm totally with you on the Wolverine thing.

He's God-verine. I swear. He never dies. Even with his healing factor, getting BLOWN UP should kill him. Honestly... And he has also somehow gained 9 inches since he was created.
